Paula & Jeff

This gorgeous kitchen features our painted Manor II cabinet. The doors are beaded inset, with a recessed panel. Paula and Jeff chose a contrasting kitchen island design where the wall cabinets were all painted and the island was solid cherry wood with a rich tobacco stain.

This kitchen posed a unique opportunity with a portion of the ceiling being elevated to accommodate a skylight. We kept all of the cabinets at the same height to provide a continuous and level look.

To maximize the windows and the natural sunlight, we brought the window over the sink all the way down to the countertop and then extended the quartz countertop all the way to the window to act as the sill. This really opened up the space and gave a seamless visual flow to the outdoors.

This kitchen features two statement walls with floor-to-ceiling cabinets. One wall accounted for a corner where every inch was maximized for storage. The second wall was built to surround a television and included a decorative open shelf with recessed lighting.

All of the cabinets feature our signature toe-kicks, moldings that seamlessly flowed throughout the room, and false doors.

The table island includes a second sink, drawer storage, a built-in towel rack, seating for 4, and a wine fridge.

“Fifth & Cherry was recommended to us by a contractor. We had stopped by the showroom and Jim took us on a personal tour of the 3 floors where the cabinets have been designed and assembled for almost 40 years. After the showroom and factory tour, Jim then came to our house for a discussion on cabinetry, kitchen layout, and design. Our home is a 90-year-old Dutch colonial. We wanted to capture some old-world charm in our new kitchen as well as have the modern conveniences in the way of appliances and counter space for preparation, cooking, and entertaining comfortably. Our kitchen was small, so we decided to take out a wall to open things up to the dining room and provide more natural light to the overall space. Jim thought he could fit an island in our kitchen. When that was not feasible he designed a beautiful custom-made peninsula separating the kitchen and dining room. We were able to maintain the idea of an open concept while still being practical regarding counter space.

We choose a cherry-stained version of the tobacco wood cabinets in the showroom. They came out beautiful and very elegant. The detail in the design is equally as impressive as the quality of the cabinets. Fifth & Cherry lays out a plan that makes every inch of the kitchen highly organized and functional in partnership with the homeowner's needs and wants. They oversee every order from the first meeting until installation. Then they followed up after the installation to ensure satisfaction on the part of the client. Fifth & Cherry also built a beautiful custom window seat for our dining room. This window seat displayed the same high level of detail and quality as our kitchen cabinets. We highly recommend, without any reservations, Fifth & Cherry cabinetry by the Reazors to anyone interested in a personal approach to kitchen renovation. The Reazor’s are trustworthy, hardworking, highly competitive from a cost perspective, with the highest quality work guaranteed and delivered.” - Jeff S.
